Don’t Cook Your Balls

After my previous Guest Post I was asked to write one for a woman Sara who has a website called “Don’t Cook Your Balls”. It’s a light hearted guide to male fertility but it also has a lot of great info on it. I highly recommend it for any guy or even woman for that matter. But you gotta love the name of that site. As much as I hurt about my infertility I still have a sense of humor about it.

From time to time I will joke with my wife that I wish we could get the money back for all the money we wasted on contraception over the years. I’ll also joke how my balls don’t work and how they are just there for show. To me you have to have a sense of humor about it if you’re going to make it through anything tough in life. Sure there is a time to be serious but you can’t be serious all the time.

Back to the Guest Post, you can read it here. I would like to personally thank Sara for giving me the opportunity to contribute to your awesome site. I hope you all enjoy!

I look at it as an annoyance more so than anything. And you know if you didn’t use contraception that you’d end up with an unplanned pregnancy. That’s the way it goes.

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and touching post. We are very light-hearted over at Don’t Cook your Balls but we recognize that male infertility is a painful and isolating condition. Our hope is to break walls to help more men get information about causes and treatments and to find ways to reach out and get the support they need. Greg, you are a champion and a hero. It is hard for men to talk about this and even harder to share how it makes them feel. I am sure many men are strengthened and encouraged by your openness and honesty. We salute you and your balls!
